Privacy Policy

This policy explains how AdmitOne collects, uses, shares, and retains personal information when people browse events, create accounts, buy tickets, request refunds, onboard for payouts, or contact support.

What we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, login details, support messages, organizer application details, payout onboarding details, and any information you submit when creating, buying, transferring, listing, or refunding tickets.

We also collect transactional and technical information such as order records, ticket history, transfer history, payout status, device and browser details, IP address, authentication logs, and fraud or abuse indicators needed to protect the platform.

How we use information

  • To create and secure accounts and authenticate sign-ins.
  • To process purchases, transfers, resale listings, payouts, and refunds.
  • To prevent fraud, enforce event rules, and investigate abuse.
  • To communicate about orders, ticket ownership, support, and policy changes.
  • To improve product performance, accessibility, and customer support.
  • To comply with law, tax, payments, and risk-management requirements.

How we share information

We share information with service providers and counterparties only as needed to run the platform. That can include payment processors, authentication providers, email vendors, organizers, venues, and users involved in transfers or resale transactions where a ticket is being handed off or supported.

For payment services, AdmitOne works with Stripe. When you provide personal data in connection with payment processing, seller onboarding, or organizer payout onboarding, Stripe receives that information and processes it under its own privacy policy.

Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain ticket integrity, meet contractual obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and satisfy legal, accounting, and tax requirements.

Some records, such as payout, chargeback, audit, and ticket validation logs, can be retained longer than active account data because platforms handling live-event payments need a durable compliance record.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit the use of your personal information. You may also have rights to object to certain processing or request a portable copy of certain data.

You can also manage some information directly in your account, such as your display name and appearance settings.

Children and sensitive categories

AdmitOne is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the service or provide personal information if you are not old enough to agree to these terms where you live.

We do not want organizers or users uploading sensitive personal data unless it is strictly required for lawful payment, identity, or accessibility handling. If a venue or organizer requires separate sensitive information for event operations, their policies may also apply.
